Developers advocate for digital maps
Wladimir is responsible for developer relations, and works on discovering the most effective methods to empower the developer community.
He is a strong believer in the open movement whether it is software, data, or knowledge, that is why he is a member of the Spanish OSGeo community and OpenStreetMap. He has more than 15 years of experience developing web applications with maps for several projects at the Cartographic and Geological Institute of Catalonia and startups. He is also an associate professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, teaching subjects related to web mapping in the Masters of Geoinformation.
In his spare time he likes outdoor activities, mainly rock climbing. If you are in Barcelona or Catalonia and need a climbing partner you can contact him.
